Documentation of works from ¢ompo$t, an exhibition exploring break- down and transformation in the subterreanean spaces of the Old Hobart Blood Bank for Dark Mofo 2019. This exhibition was curated by Lucy Bleach and Nadege Philippe-Janon with work by Hayden Fowler, Georgia Lucy, Red Slyme Incubator (Hannah Hallam-Eames and Samuel Jackson), Loren Kronemyer and Caitlin Franzmann . The exhibition also included a free public program, ¢ompo$t Aeration, a series of lecture Performances by Lucas Ihlein(Baking Earth: Soil and the Carbon Economy), Grace Gammage (On Forgetting Her Ambient Body Temperature) and Georgia Lucy (Georgia Beach – A Story Pulled from the Bin).

Accross the Coals

Open_Space: Bliss Me


Documentation of Bliss Me, CONSTANCE’s commission for Open_space in 2018. This project commissioned new work by Tiyan Baker. Through voice and video recordings of Tasmania creative industry workers and leaders, the work explores the positives, negatives and complexity of our state brand of world class arts experiences, premium food and drink products, luxury accommodation and pristine nature, against a backdrop of declining political and fiscal support for the arts in Australia. The Pink Palace


Documentation of Tess Campbell’s work for The Pink Palace, an exhibition presented in partnership with Risdon Prison for Dark Mofo 2019. Curated by Grace Herbert and Lucy Parakhina, The Pink Palace was developed over a 6 month period, pairing four Tasmanian video artists (Tess Campbell, Samuel Mountford, Dexter Rosengrave and Maria Blackwell) with four Risdon Prison inmates. The collaborative pairs developed new video works for the exhibition whicn considered conceptsof time passing in incarceration as well as other social and political issues related to incarceration. HOBIENNALE


Video documentation and interviews of the 2017 HOBIENNALE for Realtime TV. The inaugural HOBIENNALE was curated by Liam James and Grace Herbert and included the work of 130 early-career artists and musicians, accross 18 exhibitions in 12 venues. CONSTANCE is an off-site, project based A.R.I based in nipaluna / Hobart. CONSTANCE is focused on creating critical dialogues and engagement within, and  beyond, the local Tasmanian arts community through supporting experimental and critical praxis.
