BREATHE

Breathe illustrates a simple relationship between man and

nature through technology. It is designed to heighten the user’s

self-awareness of mood and sense of presence with the work, by

measuring their breath and providing visual feedback. The

natural rhythm of breathing will appear to mimic the ocean

through expansion and recession, creating a link to strengthen

the association. The work is an experimental piece designed to

provoke a sense of the power struggle between man and nature.
