Forest Whispers
Parr’s work has been shown in several critically significant exhibitions throughout Australia and overseas, with a selection of his photographic works included in the Australian Perspecta exhibitions (1983 and 1985) at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
His work has been widely collected in Australia and is held in several state galleries including the Australian National Gallery, the Museum of Contemporary Art and the National Gallery of Victoria. Parr is currently Professor Emeritus and Honorary Research Associate at the Tasmanian School of Art, University of Tasmania.
