Half-Life | Kings ARI Curated #2
The artists at Kings ARI will be presenting their work as part of the curatorial program: Brie Trenerry, Marcel Cousins, James Dodd, Sanja Pahoki, Frank Guarino, Brendan Lee and Robert Mangion will all explore different aspects of the theme HALF-LIFE.
The artists in HALF LIFE combine individual experiences with collective memory using strategies that include media appropriation, print transfer, textual interweave and lens based practice. The exhibition presents images of personal, psychological and cultural half way points and transition, where the potency of private and cultural icons become diminished and decay.
The exhibition catalogue is accompanied by an essay written by Mark Pennings.
