The Heart of Borneo

In late 2014 I travelled to Sarawak, deep into the heart of Borneo to create a series of
portraits of people effected by industrial logging.
These villages only settled five years ago. Before then they lived a nomadic life in the
jungle. Today they still rely heavily upon the jungle for their food and livelihood.
These are the faces of those directly effected by modern logging practices. They are
loosing their futures so the western world can have flooring.
