the telling of x

01 the telling of x

x is an axis, one half of a vector,
the invisible structure supporting a square.
x is a crack, a placeholder,
the juncture of two lines told as a kiss.
x is deletion, the presence of the absent,
a past relationship written on our being,
an explicit marker relaying an unknown quantity.

the telling of x presents an exploration of the emotional resonance and material form of absence. Shades of loss, growth, and transformation are evoked via an experimental juncture of brute material form and abstract pixel matter; sculpture and light, frozen and shifting, monumental and not quite there.
